Compress Image
Reduce the file size of JPG, PNG and WebP images. Compress many at once, compare before and after, and download them all as a ZIP — no upload.
PNG is lossless, so quality doesn’t apply. For big savings, save as WebP or JPG, or lower the max size.
How it works
- Drop your JPG, PNG or WebP images into the box — as many as you like.
- Set the quality (70–80% is a good start) and, for big photos, a max size like 1920 px.
- Click “Compress”, check the savings for each file, then save one or download all as a ZIP.
FAQ
How much smaller will my images get?
Phone photos usually shrink by 50–80% at 75% quality, especially with a max size of 1920 px. Images that are already optimized may not get smaller — then the original is kept.
Why doesn’t my PNG get much smaller?
PNG is lossless, so there’s no quality to lower. Save it as WebP (keeps transparency) or JPG, or reduce its dimensions.
Is my photo’s location data removed?
Yes. Re-encoding drops EXIF metadata such as GPS location and camera details.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Compression happens in your browser, so nothing leaves your device.
