FAQ
Does converting to WAV improve sound quality?
No — it can’t bring back detail the MP3 removed, but it won’t lose any more either. WAV is useful when an editor, DAW or CD burner needs uncompressed audio.
Why is the WAV file so much bigger?
WAV stores audio uncompressed, about 10 MB per minute for stereo at 44.1 kHz, roughly ten times the size of a typical MP3.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Decoding and conversion happen in your browser with the Web Audio API.
