FAQ
Are these passwords safe to use?
Yes. They are made with crypto.getRandomValues, the same secure random source browsers use for encryption, and they never leave your device.
How is strength measured?
We estimate entropy in bits from the length and the size of the character set. Under 60 bits is weak, 60–79 is good, 80–119 is strong and 120+ is very strong.
Do you store the passwords?
No. Nothing is saved or uploaded. Close the page and the password is gone, so copy it first.
