No. Recording and MP3 conversion happen in your browser. The audio stays on your device until you save it, and it’s gone when you close the page.
How long can I record?
There’s no fixed limit. The recording is kept compactly in memory, so an hour or more is usually fine. Keep this tab open and your device awake while recording.
What does “Reduce echo & background noise” do?
It turns on your browser’s built-in echo cancellation, noise suppression and auto volume — good for speech. Turn it off for music or instruments to keep the natural sound.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, in Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. Keep the screen on while recording, because phones may pause the microphone when the screen locks.
