MP4 to MP3 Converter
Extract the audio from MP4, MOV or WebM videos and save it as MP3 (128–320 kbps) or WAV. Free, no sign-up, and the video never leaves your browser.
How it works
- Drop a video (MP4, MOV, M4V or WebM) into the box, or click to choose one.
- Pick the output: MP3 at 128, 192 or 320 kbps, or uncompressed WAV.
- Click “Extract audio”. The file downloads automatically and you can play it right on the page.
FAQ
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser decodes the audio track and the MP3 encoder runs on your own device, so the video never leaves your computer or phone.
Why does it say it can’t read my file?
The tool uses your browser’s built-in decoders. Most MP4 (AAC) and WebM (Opus) videos work everywhere, but some MKV, AVI or camera files use audio formats such as AC-3 that browsers can’t decode. Videos with no sound track also can’t be converted. Try Chrome or Edge, or export the video as MP4 first.
Can I convert iPhone videos (MOV)?
Yes, iPhone MOV files use AAC audio, which Safari, Chrome and Edge can read.
Is there a size limit?
There’s no fixed limit, but the whole audio track is decoded in memory. Videos up to an hour usually work fine; very long or very large files may be slow on phones.
